I left my job in the financial industry back in September 2008 and have been working on and off as a freelance writer ever since. As my daughter has gotten older and a little bit more independent, I am finding myself capable of taking on more work. The Balancing Act is my blog about being a freelance writer and work at home mom. I am finding life as a freelance mom to be a hectic one, juggling deadlines, playdates and errands.
